Notes
Matt Winton's Five Pour Method uses equal pours for consistent extraction.
**Setup:**
Fold filter paper along seam and fit to V60. Rinse porcelain dripper with hot water; plastic or metal drippers can use hot or cold. Add coffee grounds, gently shake to flatten bed.
**Pouring technique:**
Start pouring in the middle, working around to the outside in a circular motion. Start each pour after the previous one has finished flowing through.
**Dialing in:**
If brew takes too long and tastes dry or bitter: grind coarser. If brew tastes hollow, sharp or sour: grind finer.
